NOTE: I'll put some screenshots online tomorrow, can't do it right now because my computer is turned off and I'm going to sleep soon. Thanks for your patience!

    Hai folks,

In case you didn't know: SA:MP 0.3.7 is jam-packed with new objects and skins! Sadly, these objects are not available by default for use in the MTA:SA editor. I've been working towards a solution, and I've made a little beginning today.

    Here's a list of added objects: https://wiki.sa-mp.com/wiki/Objects_0.3c#Objects_added_in_0.3.7_RC1_.28263_objects.29

List of objects I've currently added to my fixed editor resource:
    • Wedding Cake
    • Fixed new ATM
    • Halloween stuff
    • Modular island objects
More objects are coming as soon as possible!

    Download link: click here.

    Installation guide
Step 1) Extract the downloaded file to your desktop.
Step 2) Copy editor_gui.zip and editor_main.zip to MTA Install Directory/server/mods/deathmatch/resources/[editor]
Step 3) Click on overwrite or move your old editor_gui.zip and editor_main.zip to another directory as a backup.
Step 4) Launch your MTA, click on map editor and start making maps with 0.3.7 objects!

What if I'm done with making my map?

Before converting your map to SA:MP, you'll need to fix the model IDs to make your map work in SA:MP 0.3.7. I've quickly developed a nifty tool which I also have put in the download, this tool will convert all model IDs to make your map work in SA:MP 0.3.7. Just put your .map file in the same directory as mapfixer.exe, and run it. Once it's finished converting you are done. Enjoy!

Good point you've got there ;)

In the next release I'll include a command to switch between original and new objects, might be handy if you'll ever need a default object which has been replaced.
The thing is that if I try to import a SA:MP object by it's own ID (For example: 19633) it just gives me an error because that object ID does simply not exist in the original GTA:SA install. That's why I'm replacing the default objects, because otherwise there's no way to get it to work unfortunately.

As long as the script and your converter work it's all good :D

Make sure to put it in the server > mods > deathmatch directory, not just mods > deathmatch

New version is up! Got some new objects added (some tubes) and you can now use /load and /unload to load and unload the custom objects. Very handy!

You can download it by clicking here.

@TUR2, Could you explain what exactly is not working? Did you put the whole downloaded zip in [editor]? Because you'll have to put editor_main.zip & editor_gui.zip inside the [editor] folder, replacing the original editor_main.zip and editor_gui.zip
