I've scoured the internet for something like this for a while, so here's a new tutorial that actually works. You want to make maps using MTA's map editor and include the 0.3c objects in them. Naturally, MTA doesn't include those by default, so you gotta shoehorn them in somehow. Well, this makes it easy.

    1. Open your MTA install folder. Unless you've somehow changed it, it'll be in C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.3

    2. Go to the server's resources folder this is where you'll have to insert a file that you'll download in the next step. Your directory should now be C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.3\server\mods\deathmatch\resources

    3. Click on this link and download the file. Delete the [editor] folder in your MTA directory completely, and replace it with the folder in the .rar file.

    4. Load up MTA. You'll get a notification about .asi files in your Install directory. It's fine, ignore it. Then when it's loaded, open up the map editor.

    5. Go to the objects in the editor, and your SA-MP objects should be front and center! You can now map with the 0.3c objects in MTA!

Notes: I've only tested this with editor 1.3.5. If you're freshly installed MTA, open the map editor before doing this tutorial. You may get a black screen upon opening. Reinstalling as an administrator fixed it when I had the same issue.

Eh.. I still prefer SA:MP Map Editor, I only use MTA for projects where multiple people are involved.

Nice work Chonlel. I've been using the new objects for a while now :)

Anyways, I tried adding the 0.3.7 objects and I failed. Maybe you all can help? I'm not trying to steal the topic or anything but actually trying to update the editor file.

So first I just put the new files in the editor_main folder which didn't work. So I looked at the meta.xml and found out that you have to tell the MTA map editor which file is which or something like that in a .lua file which is going to be a huge pain in the ass to do. Is there any way to automate this process?

    Thanks

The <!-- and --> before and after the selected line should be removed, these are comment brackets ;)

I got it working, just tested the new 0.3.7 360 ramp objects and they all seem to work perfectly! Here are some screenshots:

Even the collisions work after some attempts. The big problem though is that MTA doesn't support the SAMP.ide file because SAMP files are not getting loaded by MTA. So I made it work by replacing default GTA objects (some ugly rocks) with the 3 custom ones using a script. I'm going to think about a better solution tomorrow, and hopefully I'll get it working in an easier way :)

Nice! The 3c objects were added as replacements for useless interiors afaik so you could try that.
